The City of Taft invites your participation in an informational meeting and community workshop to discuss the City’s interest in expanding. Other topics to be discussed include health care, habitat conservation, agriculture and oil drilling buffers, green provisions, redevelopment area expansion, and the enterprise zone.
The meeting will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 19, 2008, at The Historic Fort Auditorium.
Taft is on a path to become a national model in regard to sustainable development inasmuch as we are making plans to construct high-quality new developments utilizing smart growth principles and real estate best practices while protecting the environment through creative zoning and innovative land use practices.
