The Westside Humane Society is offering up a horse for adoption. Toby is a 14 year old Tobiano Paint/Quarter Horse Mare with blue eyes. $35 was donated directed to her care at the Animal Health & Education Day sponsored by the Westside Humane Society on October 18, 2008.
Her past includes professional training, showing, is she is well broke for the experienced rider. Toby has an affectionate personality.
Toby was brought to WSHS Member, Karen Stockton for fostering, after being found with not enough to eat and very little care. Karen estimates 6-9 months for rehabilitation and to gain her weight back.
The average monthly expense to care for Toby (including medical, feed, farrier) is $175.00. WSHS is accepting applications for the adoption of Toby. Contact Karen Stockton at 661-763-5187 for an appointment to meet this sweet mare.
