Greetings Wildcats,


On behalf of the Taft Union High School Board of Trustees it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2008-2009 school year We are fortunate in the Taft Union High School District to have a group of outstanding and dedicated professionals to work with our kids. Our facilities are second to none and the breath of academic programs rivals those of any secondary institution in the country. When you couple these things with a supportive community what you have is something unique to secondary education.

As always, my recommendation to students is to get involved. Find something beyond the academic side of education in which to participate. Students who get involved perform better academically, have better attendance, and have a more meaningful high school experience. If you are can’t find something to be involved in at Taft Union High School then you are not looking hard enough.

In closing, it is my great pleasure to serve the students, parents, and staff of this great institution. I look forward to working with you. Please don’t hesitate to call or come by for a visit if you have any questions or concerns. Let’s have a great school year!
