Jacob's 24 Hour Burgers, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be opening soon in Taft.
The old donut shop located at 330 Kern Street is getting a makeover and will soon be known as Jacob's 24 Hour Burgers, Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. A three generation family owned business, Hussan Quhshee with his son Mohammed Quhshee and Mohammed's son, Jacob Quhshee have all been working on renovating the location. The Quhshee family is hoping to have everything ready to open by March 15th.
"Taft doesn't have anything like this," said Mohammed, "We hope it catches on and that we will be able to stay open 24 hours." The Quhshee's plan is to start out with the late night restaurant being open 24 hours, but if the response and demand is not there they will cut back to regular business hours. "There is nothing open late in Taft and with the good location and busy street we are confident that this will work," said Mohammed.
