HUNTERS SAFETY COURSE
Monday, February 1 through Wednesday, February 3
6:30-9:30 p.m.

$5 per person (facility fee)
With cooperation from the volunteer instructors Ray Mortimer and Larry Heptinstall, materials and instruction for obtaining a California Hunting license are available approximately every three months. Registration begins the first night of class and a minimum of 10 paid students is required or the class will be postponed until May. Upcoming class dates are May 3-5, August 2-4 and October 4-6.
FATHER/DAUGHTER DANCE
Saturday, February 6
7:00-9:30 p.m.
Community Center Auditorium
500 Cascade Place, Taft
Girls ages 4-13
$30 per couple ($10 each additional daughter)
Join us for our 2nd Annual Father/Daughter Dance - this event is sure to be a memorable evening. Girls ages 4-13 may be accompanied by their father, guardian or adult relative. The special evening includes DJ music, photographs, a dessert buffet and more fun surprises. Tickets are limited and may be purchased December 1 through February 4. No tickets will be available the night of the event, so buy yours now - don't miss out!
BEADS & MORE BEADS

Bring your imagination to this fun hour of designing and making a variety of beads. We will have all of the supplies you'll need to create necklaces, bracelets and fuse bead iron projects.

VALENTINE COOKIE & CRAFT WORKSHOP

Ages 4 and up
$3 per person
Kids of all ages are invited to attend this workshop where they will get the chance to create and decorate their own special valentine cookie. We will also make some special valentines. Younger kids will need to bring along an older helper.

PONYTAIL SOFTBALL
T-Ball: Ages 5-7
Division I: Ages 10 and under
Division II: Ages 12 and under
Division III: Ages 15 and under
Season: Begins April 5, 2010. Fee: $45 per person
Registration deadline: February 12
Games will be held Monday through Thursday evenings this spring at the Franklin Field Recreation Complex.
BABE RUTH BASEBALL
Who: Students in 7th and 8th grades
Season: Practices start in April
Fee: $40 per person. Registration: February 1 - April 15
Practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursday, with games taking place on the weekends.
YOUTH TRACK
Who: Ages 6-15
Season: begins in March
Time: 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Where: Taft Union High School Track
Fee: $40 per person
Registration: January 4 - February 25
This program is designed to train boys and girls, ages 6-15, in all areas of track and field. Participants are eligible to enter the District Track Meet, and may also qualify to advance to other meets. Practices will take place during the week.
YOUTH VOLLEYBALL
Who: Ages 11-14
When: Monday afternoons beginning February 22
Time: 3:30 p.m.
Where: Taft College Gymnasium
Fee: $30 per person
Registration: January 4 - February 25
Boys and girls ages 11-14 are welcome to participate in this fun volleyball program instructed by the Taft College Women's Volleyball Team. Players will learn beginning offensive and defensive skills. Space is limited, so register early!
INSTRUCTIONAL VOLLEYBALL

When: Wednesday afternoons beginning February 24
Time: 3:30 p.m.
Where: Taft College Gymnasium
Fee: $30 per person

The Taft College Women's Volleyball Team will teach the basic fundamentals of volleyball. Space is limited, so register early!
