Christina Karlen Grabs Top Taft Camera Club Photo Award

By being the best in five competition categories, Christina Karlen's "Prayers At Snow Mountain" was judged the Best of Show in the recent Wonderful World of Photography photo contest sponsored by the Taft Camera Club. In addition to being deemed Best of Show, Karlen's entry also took first place in the Other Stuff competition category.
Other first place winners in this contest were Jessica Frey with two first place awards in People and Critters category: "A Beautiful Package" and Going Places category: "A Striking Presidential Profile," Mimi Collins with "Return To Oxford" in the Doing Things category and Hilda Bravo with "Maricopa Sunset" in the Oil Patch category.
All of the winning entries will be on display at the Taft College Library during February. An Open House honoring the winners will be held at the Taft College Library Tuesday afternoon from 4:00 to 7:00. The public is invited to attend this event.
