Hollywood Hits Taft! (...again.)
Review by Jessica G. Miller -
July 31, 2009
For My Daughter's Honor. Meteor. Frog-g-g! Goth.
And soon to join the ranks of these epic silver screen tales will be Rachel's Return, the latest edition to the growing list of movies filmed in Taft.
It appears Taft, CA is a magnet for films as of late. Our quaint, little town has been taken by storm by a ragtag but talented group of film makers out to create a provocative and gritty tale of intense teenage issues and reanimation. I have been elected as your captain to guide you through the exciting next two weeks.
We'll rub elbows with director, Victor Thomas Di Tommaso as he works on his first film that not only has he written but is producing as well, maybe we'll even take a peak onto the set and observe actors Daniella Monet, new comer Nick Rux and famed WCW and WWF wrestler, Kevin Nash as they bring this powerful story to life. Perhaps we'll even get a chance to pick the brain of Luce Rains (Appaloosa, 3:10 to Yuma) and the crew members (one of which who worked on the newest Star Trek film!).
So climb aboard the U.S.S. Miller and prepare to be informed about all that is Rachel's Return.
